Falls Creek is located in the Bogong High Plains Victoria, Australia. It is a great resort with enough terrain to keep all levels of skiers satisfied. Due to this its a great place for groups and families to ski so everyone no matter what level can enjoy themselves.
For the beginner Falls Creek at least allows you the luxury of learning at the top of the mountain and not make you feel bad being at the bottom and dreaming of getting up there one day. As you learn there are plenty of home trails and easy runs to get you going and before too long you will ski down Wombats Ramble giving you the pleasure of skiing top to bottom for the first time.
Intermediates have the whole of Sun Valley to play in as well as home trails and the town itself. Falls Creek is a fantastic place for intermediates as each run from Panorama to Ruined Castle gets a little more advanced so you can progress as you cross the hill.
Advanced skiers have the Summit, International, The Maze and snowmobile tours back country on Mt McKay with Olympic Legend Steven Lee.
The Summit and Exhibition area give gives bump skiers some fun and the Maze is through the trees and has some great winding and challenging runs.
Falls Creek has much to offer, being on the snow makes it a great holiday as in the evenings you get to walk around town in the snow and really feel the atmosphere.

OVERSNOW TRANSPORT
On arrival in Falls Creek you may require Oversnow Transport to get to your flat, the roads in Falls Creek in winter are closed to cars, a fact you will learn to appreciate during your stay as it preserves the snow on the road for ski in ski out.
Reverse your car up to the Oversnow Terminal and offload your gear, once unloaded proceed to the parking sign in front of you to be escorted to your long term parking by a Falls Creek Resort Management vehicle, they will return you to the Oversnow Terminal once you have parked your car.
Some flats do not require Oversnow Transport and you may offload your gear at another location, we will advise you of this when you book with us.
SKI HIRE
There are numerous outlets for ski hire on the mountain. We recommend you hire your ski’s or boards on mountain as if you have a problem you can return easily to the hire outlet for maintenance or exchanging. We can organise all of your hire needs if you like or advise on the best outlets.
